On a chill fall evening after the Soul Garden, Raheem stopped at the after party held at the Shadow Lounge. Before the SL held an alcohol license they sold candy bars in which Raheem purchased for a table of young ladies. Shortly after, that SMI (co-owner of the SL) connected us with Raheem. He began recording at 2:15am and did not finish until 9:30am that morning. The song with the lyrics, “I got a thing for chocolates...I got a thing for sweets” was inspired by his experience at the Shadow Lounge and is featured on his first album.
