Elizabeth Speed, Emmy Award-winning producer, writer and educator, got her start making media alongside Emmai at WQED Pittsburgh. After working on a variety of local and national projects for PBS, Liz moved on to corporate work. For a decade, she wrote and produced marketing and product content for an executive leadership development consultancy--notably shooting and producing international projects across Asia and South America. A certified high school teacher, Liz also directs the digital media arts/video production program for high schoolers at Westinghouse Arts Academy Charter School. Her work has earned a PA Association of Broadcaster’s Award, several Tellys, a Magnum Opus (marketing) award, and an Emmy in a category that recognized both production quality and community impact. “Use it for the powers of good, always.” -Elizabeth Speed
