KATELYN WALKER

Katelyn Walker is a local filmmaker and a Graduate of Point Park University. She has received her degree in Cinema Production with a concentration in Directing and Minor in Communications. She has worked in multiple Departments that range from Directing, A.D., Casting, and Camera Operating. Katelyn aims to create Diverse projects with unique point of views to help instigate and stir questions to all audiences. Her most recent projects have been as the A.D. for “Greek Goddess” that Premiered at the Pittsburgh South Side Works this past March, Casting & A.D. for “The Lovers Lyfe,” and Directing Music Videos for local Pittsburgh Bands. The previous work that she Directed, “Some Monsters” was the NFFTY Award Winner for Best Short in 2016, and winning Best Music Video at the Pittsburgh Rock Awards for her Music Video, “Sun is Out.” Through the lens of a camera, she hopes to continue being a storyteller and getting uncommon stories told.
